Globly Quiz is a geography quiz game made by Dmitry Ponomarenko. This policy explains, in plain terms, exactly what the app does with your data.
The short version: the app does not require an account, shows no ads, contains no analytics or tracking, and works fully offline. The only time information is sent to us is when you choose to submit feedback from the Settings screen.
The country database, your quiz settings, your profile name and icon, and your quiz history are stored locally on your device. We cannot see any of it.
If you are signed in to iCloud, your profile (name, icon, quiz results and points) is saved to your personal iCloud key-value storage so it follows you between your devices. This is your private Apple storage. It is not sent to us, and we have no ability to read it. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Settings contains a Feedback form. It is entirely optional. Nothing is transmitted unless you fill it in and submit it. When you do, this is the complete contents of what is sent:

If you leave the email field blank, we have no way to identify or contact you, and the submission is effectively anonymous.
Feedback is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, which acts as our data processor. Google processes it on our behalf under Firebase's privacy terms. We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your feedback to anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Feedback submissions are retained for as long as they are useful for fixing bugs and improving the app, and are deleted when they no longer are.
You can ask us to provide a copy of, correct, or delete any feedback you have sent. Email dmytro.ponomarenko.job@gmail.com and we will action it within 30 days. If you submitted feedback without an email address, we will not be able to locate it, because nothing links it to you.
Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app. Data in your iCloud is managed by you through iOS Settings.
Globly Quiz is suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The only field that can contain personal information is the optional email address on the feedback form. If you believe a child has sent us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
